Director of Client Services

Overall Responsibilities:

This role is the critical link between VOKE’s internal stakeholders - production, product and business teams - and our external partners. You will be responsible for managing customer success.

Your primary focus will be leading implementation of events and projects. You should be technically savvy understand content production and be able to manage various projects with an emphasis on superior communication, organization and project management. The candidate will interface with executives, employees, and partners across multiple verticals. The ideal candidate is a problem solver, has the ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment on a daily basis, is an excellent communicator with strong attention to detail, and enjoys challenging new projects.

You are highly professional, proactive and organized, yet comfortable dealing with last minute changes in a fast paced, innovative environment. You are collaborative and fluent in the latest technology trends with an emphasis on virtual reality, live streaming, social media and mobile with an appetite to learn. In this role you will :

  • Delight customers and end users with successful implementation of projects and event projection.
  • Act as primary point of contact internally and externally for implementation of projects.
  • Lead project management and act as liaison for external customers and internal production, product and business teams.
  • Responsible for creating scalable processes for efficient and successful deployment.
  • Manage projects and work with the product team in the roll out of new products to customers.
  • Manage projects to schedule and ensure that others are delivering on their milestones.
  • Create and manage on-going daily/monthly metrics to measure success.
  • Implement and use technology tools (e.g. Basecamp, Slack or other) to facilitate productivity.
  • Create documentation for project plans and provide post-mortem presentations to VOKE executives, customers and partners.
  • Manage calendar of events, team meetings and team projects and general organization.
  • Maintain and document communication with external resources.
  • Opportunity to build and lead customer success/account management team.

Ideal Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in digital media, content production and account/project management.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment on a daily basis.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively.
  • Demonstrated success managing projects on time and delighting customers.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Highly organized with proven ability to multi-task with ever-changing priorities.
  • Available and able to work flexible hours and weekends when necessary; team player.
  • Proactive, resourceful with great problem solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong sense of urgency with ability to prioritize under time constraints and work successfully in a fast-paced, innovative, technology centric environment.
  • Experience with project management and technology tools for productivity.
  • VR enthusiast and passionate about content and technology.
